Nex is a hacker investigating human rights abuses around the world perpetrated through the use of technology.

All of them have one thing in common:

Surveillance technology, often made in Europe, was used to harm and silence journalists, activists and dissidents.

Nex created audio and visual representations of the spyware used by governments

Alec Empire & Atari Teenage Riot integrated it in their latest music.

 

Alec Empire is the bandleader of Atari Teenage Riot and released several solo albums. He worked with the likes of Björk and Thurston Moore.
