I create a silhouette.
The synthesizer transforms it:
Now the silhouette is an audio waveform.
I wave my hand.
Or I can search for silhouettes in pictures.
Or I can search for silhouettes and rhythms in movies.
All pictures have sound.
All sounds have pictures.

Pit Przygodda, musician and experimental filmmaker, was inspired by the optical soundtrack technique used in 35mm-movies.
"SILHOUETTE" is an optical soundtrack generator in real time. The joysticks are used to choose areas in pictures – the synthesizer turns them into sound to create atmospheric overtones, noisy pads and unusual loops and sequences. The 6 voices can be placed anywhere across a wide scale range and mixed together individually.
