Marc Caro is a French filmmaker and cartoonist. Since the 80s he made short films and music videos with Jean-Pierre Jeune, which gained much attention. Their feature film debut „Delicatessen“ from 1991 was followed by „The City of Lost Children“, which was nominated at Cannes’ film festival 1995. The soundtrack was produced by David Lynch composer Angelo Badalamenti, the costumes were designed by Jean-Paul Gaultier. Jeunet later had a major hit with „Amélie“ in 2001, Caro’s solo debut was „Dante 01“ in 2008.

On Superbooth19 Marc Caro will display extracts from his movies and talk mainly about the soundtrack, like „Delicatessen“, „The Bunker of the Last Gunshots“ (1981 with Jeunet) and „Dante 01“. Also short films will to be seen like the recent animation film „Looop“, its soundtrack was mainly produced with modulars.

Marc Caro will also play a concert with Gaël Loisonat Saturday, 7:15 pm in the K1 Hall.
