Chris Imler is a drummer and solo musician. Since moving to Berlin in 1984 he was and is a drummer in a large number of bands and projects. He plays in bands like the Staatsakt super group Die Türen, Oum Shatt and Driver & Driver and worked for Maximilian Hecker and Peaches. He is part of Jens Friebe’s band and was a member of Berlin’s infamous punk band Golden Showers.

In his solo work, Imler plays mainly synthesizer, the rhythm comes from a drum set or a drum machine. Live he plays with a sampler and modified drumsets and sings to it, partly with excessive use of autotune.
